A clipboard manager is a computer program that adds functionality to an operating systems clipboard. I currently use an older version of klipper (from kde platform 4.8.4) and once, some time ago, I tried working with it, but I really didn’t grok it enough to get anywhere. It would be even nicer if it could figure out which part of what I copied was what (URL, title, snippet), but I can live with learning to copy in a disciplined sequence, e.g., URL first, title second, 1st snippet third., and so on (or reverse order, probably easier).ĭo any of these clipboard managers help with that? It would be nice to find a clipboard manager that would make that more convenient for me, automatically adding the various pieces of extra text.
